Article #96: Vintage Pepsi Soda Bottle

In this new article we get a look at this vintage Pepsi Return for Deposit bottle. This is a 10 ounce bottle. Pepsi was created in 1893 by Caleb Bradham and originally was named Brad's Drink and was first sold in New Bern, North Carolina. In 1889, the drink was renamed to Pepsi-Cola. And in 1961 it was shortened to Pepsi. On the front of the bottle you have the Pepsi writing in a circle and you also have the ribbed design which goes all around the bottle. Also above the writing it notes that is a money back bottle, and at the bottom it says return for deposit. Here is the other side of the bottle where you have the Pepsi logo at the top of the bottle.
