Article #101: Vintage 1940's Embossed 7 Up Soda Bottle

 

In this new article we get a look at this vintage 1940's 7 Up soda bottle where it is embossed with only the logo on the front. 7 Up was created by Charles Leiper Grigg in 1920 by the Howdy Corporation. The formula for the drink came to be in 1929. Originally, the product was named Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda. The photo above shows the front of the bottle.
Here is a look at the back of the bottle which is plain.
Here is the bottom of the bottle where you have the logo. This pretty unique because most of these bottles did not have the logo on the bottom.
