Article #90: Vintage Nesbitt's Soda Bottle with Full Grape Drink Inside

 

In our 90th article we are looking at this vintage Nesbitt's soda bottle which still has the full grape drink inside. Nesbitt's originally was produced by the Nesbitt's Fruit Products Company of  LA. The company produced other flavored soft drinks under the Nesbitt's brand. The Nesbitt's Fruit Products Company was founded in 1924, the company was named after the founder Hugh S. Nesbitt. Nesbitt's as a brand came out in 1927 originally as part of the company's line of soda fountain products. Nesbitt's became the leader in orange soda pop in the late 1940's and 50's. Nesbitt's had flavors like Orange, Strawberry and Grape to name a few. On the front of the bottle you have the Nesbitt's logo at the top and in the middle on the front.
Here is a look at the back of the bottle where it says that the location is indicated on the cap. It also points out that is is a 10 ounce bottle.
