Article #83: Vintage 1920's Kist Soda Bottle

 

In our 83rd article we are looking at this vintage 1920's Kist soda bottle. Kist was one of the first orange sodas marketed to consumers where it began distribution in 1919. Citrus Products which was based in Chicago was an early innovator in branding and marketing. Citrus Products manufactured Kist and lasted from 1919 to 1965. This is an embossed soda bottle which has a January 25th 1927 patent date. On the front and back of the bottle you have the Kist writing.
