Article #69: Vintage 1962 Teem Soda Bottle

In our 69th article we are looking at this vintage Teem soda bottle from 1962. Teem was a lemon-lime soda produced by Pepsi. It was introduced on April 10, 1959 and was made to compete with 7 Up. As part of the pre planning, Teem was known as "Duet", the name was changed due to a copyright dispute with a food manufacturer carrying he same brand. 3 days after it's introduction, Teem advertisements started to come up. Teem was sold in the US and Canada and was discontinued in 1984 due to a decline in sales. The front of the bottle has the Teem logo on the top. This bottle in addition to that has a diamond design all the way around.

Here is the other side of the bottle where you have the logo again. Under that it points out that it is produced by Pepsi.

Here is a close up of the Teem logo at the top of the bottle on the front.

Here is a look at the bottom of the bottle where it says 3 62 which means it was bottled in March of 1962.
