Article #56: Vintage 1960's Pepsi Soda Bottle

 

Here is our 56th article and here we get a look ta this vintage Pepsi soda bottle from the 1960's. Pepsi was created in 1893 by Caleb Bradham and originally was named Brad's Drink and was first sold in New Bern, North Carolina. In 1889, the drink was renamed to Pepsi-Cola. And in 1961 it was shortened to Pepsi. On the front of the bottle you have the Pepsi writing in a circle and you also have the ribbed design which goes all around the bottle. 
Here is a look at the other side of the bottle where you have the Pepsi logo at the top of the bottle.
Here is a close up look at the Pepsi logo at the top of the bottle. This font was used from 1951 to 1971 and it was reintroduced in 2014.
