Article #52: Vintage 1920's Orange Crush Soda Bottle

Here in our 52nd article we are looking at this vintage 1920's Orange Crush soda bottle. The brand started out as Orange Crush in 1911 and was created by chemist Neil C. Ward. In 1911, Clayton J. Howel who was the president and founder of the Orange Crush company partnered with Ward who made the recipe for Orange Crush. Crush premiered as Ward's Orange Crush. Orange Crush originally had orange pulp in the bottle which gave it a fresh squeezed illusion. The bottle has a ribbed krinkly design and on the front of the bottle you have where it says Orange Crush Bottle and above that it gives a patent date of July 1920.
The back of the bottle looks really similar to the front where it also says Orange Crush Bottle.
