Article #40: Vintage 1954 Caravan Soda Bottle

 

Here in our 40th article we are taking a looking at this vintage Caravan soda bottle from 1954. Caravan was a drink a made by Cheerwine and had different flavors like Ginger Ale, Grape, Orange, Peach, Strawberry and Chocolate to name a few. This bottle is green and embossed where you have the Caravan writing as well as a palm tree and some camels.

Here is a more close up look at the front of the bottle. At the bottom of the bottle it says Ginger Ale, which means Ginger Ale was in this kind of bottle.

Here is a look at the bottom of the bottle where it has a patent date of March 1924.
