Article #36: Vintage Bubble Up Soda Bottle

Here in our 36th article we are looking at this vintage Bubble Up soda bottle. Bubble Up was created in 1919 by Sweet Valley Products of Sandusky, Ohio. At that time, Bubble Up was advertised as a grape juice instead of a lemon lime drink. From 1922 to 1937 the Bubble Up name was unused. In 1953, Bubble Up was located in Peoria, Illinois. In 1959 the trademark Kiss of Lemon-Kiss of Lime was registered. On the front of the bottle you have the Bubble Up logo at the top and in the middle, as well as one of the slogans which is a kiss of lemon, a kiss of lime. And at the bottom it points out that it is property of Coca Cola.
The back of the bottle almost looks the same as the front with the logo at the top and in the middle as well as the slogan.
Here is a close up of the logo at the top of the bottle.
