Article #31: Vintage Red Rock Soda Bottle

Here in our 31st article we are looking at this vintage Red Rock soda bottle. Red Rock was founded by Lee Hagan and G.T. Dodd of Atlanta, Georgia. Dodd originally introduced Ginger Ale as the company's first product. Red Rock was one of the oldest producers of carbonated beverages in the country. Something else worth noting is that Babe Ruth endorsed Red Rock. They were an early leader in distribution of carbonated beverages, including 12 ounce bottles with a network of 200 bottlers. Red Rock was bottled in 45 of 48 states as of 1947, but went away in the 1950's.  This bottle is a 12 ounce bottle and on the front you have the Red Rock writing at the top and the logo in the middle.
Here is the back of the bottle where you have the Red Rock writing at the top and in the middle is a illustration of a woman and it says, Enjoy the Sparkling rich flavor of Red Rock.
