Article #24: Vintage 1950's Double Cola Soda Bottle

 

This is our 24th article and we are looking at this vintage Double Cola soda bottle from the 1950's. In 1922 the Good Grape company was founded by former Chero Cola employees Charles D. Little and Joe S. Foster in Huntsville, Alabama mainly to market Good Grape. Then Good Grape changed it's name to Seminole Flavor Company. Double Cola was developed in 1933 and became Seminole's flagship product. It was named Double Cola because it's 12 ounce bottled were twice the size of other soda's at the time. On the front of the bottle you have the logo at the top and in the middle.
On the back of the bottle you have the logo at the top and it points out where it was bottled.
