Article #117: Vintage Circle A Soda Bottle
In this new article, we are taking a look at this vintage Circle A soda bottle. Circle A was bottled by Dr. Pepper throughout various states. This drink was most popular during the 1940's and the 1950's. Some key places it was bottled would include Louisiana, Ohio, Texas, Washington, D.C. and Kansas.
These bottles came in different sizes, like 7 oz, 9 oz and 12 oz. They all featured the letter A in the middle of the bottle, either being red or blue. This bottle has the A at the top of the bottle on both sides, as well as in the middle.
The drink included flavors like orange, grape, root beer and lemon lime to name a few.
Here is a look at the back of the bottle. This one was bottled by Circle A in Charlotte, North Carolina. It has one of the slogans which is: The Sign of Highest Quality Beverages.
