Article #112: Vintage 1930's 7 Up Soda Bottle
In this new article we take a look at this vintage 7 Up soda bottle from the 1930's. 7 Up was created by Charles Leiper Grigg in 1920 by the Howdy Corporation. The formula for the drink came to be in 1929. Originally, the product was named Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda. On the front of the bottle you have the logo at the top and in the middle. To the left of the logo is the swimsuit girl with some bubbles. There is no red background in the logo here like you would normally see witn these kinds of bottles.
Here is a look at the back of the bottle. It has one of the slogans which is You Like It It Likes You. This one was bottled in Nashville, Tennessee.
