Article #28: Vintage 1960's Nesbitt's Soda Bottle

 

Here is our 28th article on the blog and here we are looking at this vintage Nesbitt's soda bottle from the 1960's. This one was bottled in Los Angeles, California. Nesbitt's originally was produced by the Nesbitt's Fruit Products Company of  LA. The company produced other flavored soft drinks under the Nesbitt's brand. The Nesbitt's Fruit Products Company was founded in 1924, the company was named after the founder Hugh S. Nesbitt. Nesbitt's as a brand came out in 1927 originally as part of the company's line of soda fountain products. Nesbitt's became the leader in orange soda pop in the late 1940's and 50's. Nesbitt's had flavors like Orange, Strawberry and Grape to name a few.
