Article #22: Vintage 1970's Caravan Soda Bottle

 

In our 22nd article we are looking at a vintage Caravan soda bottle from the 1970's. Caravan was a drink that was a part of the Cheerwine line of drinks. Caravan had flavors like Orange, Strawberry, Ginger Ale, Peach, Grape and a Chocolate to name a few. On the front of the bottle you have the Caravan writing at the top and in the middle you have the Caravan logo which consists of the writing, as well as a palm tree to the right and a pyramid to the left. And at the bottom is one of the slogans which is The Oasis of Beverages. 

The back of the bottle looks really similar to the front. At the top it points out that it is a 10 ounce bottle and in the middle is the logo like on the front. And at the bottom it points out that is is bottled by Cheerwine.
