Article #21: Vintage 1940's Whistle Soda Bottle
Here in our 21st article we are looking at this vintage Whistle soda bottle from the 1940's. Whistle was introduced in the spring of 1916. It was most popular in the 1920's when it outsold Coca Cola per newspaper source. On the front of the bottle it says Whistle at the top of the bottle and it had the logo in the middle where it also says one of the slogans which is Thirsty? Just Whistle.
On the back of the bottle you have the Whistle writing and logo like on the front and it also points out he ingredients and where it was bottled. This one was bottled by the Kings Mountain Beverage Company in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
